The Galton Valley Pumping Station is situated in Smethwick, Sandwell between the New Main Line (Birmingham Level) and Old Main Line (Wolverhampton Level) of the Birmingham Canal.

The Kings Norton Junction House was a toll house built on the Worcester & Birmingham Canal and opened in 1796. Grade II listed in 1982. Damaged by fire in 2019. Getting restored in 2023.
On Lifford Lane in Kings Norton, what is now the Lakeside Business Centre used to be a Victorian paper mill called Sherbourne Mill. Some buildings survive along with the mill pool.
Wightwick Manor was built for the Mander family in the late 19th century. It has been owned by the National Trust since 1937. It is in Wolverhampton.
Moseley Old Hall is located in Fordhouses, north of Wolverhampton in Staffordshire. The hall was built in the late 16th or early 17th centuries. Associated with Charles II's 1651 escape.
St Peter's Collegiate Church is a Grade I listed building in Wolverhampton dating to the late 13th century. It was restored from 1852-65 by E. Christian. Built of Ashlar with a lead roof.
St John's in the Square Wolverhampton is a church located at St John's Square in Wolverhampton. A Grade II* listed building, it was built between 1758 and 1776 by Roger Eykyn
St George's Church is a former Anglican church in Wolverhampton built in 1830. It later became a Sainsbury's supermarket from the 1980s until they relocated by 2013-14.
Galton Tunnel on the Main Line of the Birmingham to Wolverhampton Canal is to be found next to the quite amazing Galton Bridge. 122 yards long from the northwestern to southeastern portals.
The Back To Backs is located in Southside on the corner of Hurst Street and Inge Street. The only surviving example of that kind of housing, now a museum run by the National Trust.
Oak House is a half-timbered Yeoman's farmers house in West Bromwich, Sandwell, now a museum. A Grade II* listed building dating to the late 16th century.
The Queen's Building was the entrance gateway to Wolverhampton High Level Station, opened in 1849. Now near the Wolverhampton Interchange and Bus Station. Last used as a Costa Coffee.
The equestrian statue of Prince Albert was unveiled by his widow Queen Victoria in 1866 at Queen Square in Wolverhampton. It was her first public outing after Prince Albert's death.
The Plough and Harrow is a public house and hotel on the Hagley Road, corner with Plough and Harrow Road in Ladywood. Grade II listed, dates to 1832-3. J. R. R. Tolkien once stayed here.
The Ivy Bush is a public house on the corner of Hagley Road and Monument Road in Ladywood, Birmingham. A Grade II listed building, it dates to the mid 19th century.
The Catholic Church of Saint Michael and the Holy Angels is located on the corner of St Michael Street and High Street in West Bromwich, Sandwell. It was built 1875 -77 by Dunn and Hansom.
Allied Bakeries West Bromwich is on the Birmingham Road in West Bromwich. They have been making bread since 1935 when W G Weston set up the company. Factories UK wide.
Opposite The Hawthorns home of West Bromwich Albion was a public house of the same name. It is now a Greggs. A house built circa 1840, Grade II listed building.
Located to the back of Central St Michael's Sixth Form College (formerly The Public) is a bronze portrait bust of Phil Lynott (1949-86) a former member of Thin Lizzy. Unveiled in 2021.
The Central Library in Wolverhampton was built from 1900 to 1902 by H. T. Hare, is a Grade II* listed building. Located at St George's Parade and Garrick Street.
The Ryland Memorial School of Art was built in 1902 on Lodge Road in West Bromwich. Until 2012 it was part of Sandwell College. It has been the British Muslim School since 2017.
On Lodge Road in West Bromwich is a former Grammar School, previously the Municipal Secondary School. The actress Madeleine Carroll attended school here from 1915 to 1923.
The Billiard Hall is a JD Wetherspoon Freehouse on St Michael's Street in West Bromwich. It was purpose built as a snooker and billiard hall. It was built in 1913.
The Garden of Remembrance in West Bromwich, also called the Memorial Gardens is on the High Street. Also located here is Highfields House, the Sandwell Register Office.
The Great Lion Bar & Grill is a Indian restaurant on the High Street in West Bromwich. It used to be called Desi Junction. Formerly a pub called the Lewisham Hotel, for WBA fans.
